Re-Thinking How We Think after Systems Science

-
If scientific reduction has led to evidence for irreducibly interactive phenomena, our modern mentality is invalid
-
An assumption that science's quantitative analysis can describe and explain all is in error
-
If the systems we are and interact with are all complexes of complex subsystems, whose behavior emerges unpredictably from conflict and instability,
-
we can only know these in terms of their characteristic 'archetypal' behaviors
-
That requires archetypal thinking
-
Most confoundingly, reductive scientific method gives us knowledge we cant' fully appreciate
this appears to be a right hemisphere mode of attending and understanding inclusively, holistically
- we can't know them definitively, categorically, predictably
- we must now understand that realistic understanding must remain undecided, adaptive, paradoxical
- we have thr knowledge we need but lack ways to comprehend it
